Hello you guys! Today, we are going to have another guest, and that is Sajjad Jaffer. Sajjad comes from Tanzania and is currently studying in the US, and from his experience studying abroad, I hope that you can better prepare yourself for this big change!

___________________________________________________________________

Hey everyone! I am Sajjad, and I am an international student from Tanzania currently studying in the U.S. I want to share a bit about my wild adventure as a student in a foreign country. You know that feeling when you are standing on the edge of something new, and it

is a mix of excitement and nerves? That is exactly how I felt when I decided to come here and let me tell you it has been one heck of a ride!

From the moment I stepped off the plane, everything was a whirlwind of new experiences. The food was different, the weather was a total shock, and even the way people talked was new to me. I remember thinking, “What have I gotten myself into?” But that is the beauty of it you are diving into something completely unknown, and that is where the magic happens.

One of the coolest parts about studying abroad is the people you meet along the way. I never imagined I would have friends from places like Mongolia, Vietnam, Russia, and Myanmar, but now I do! It is crazy to think that a year ago, I did not even know where some of these countries were on the map, and now I am sharing meals, stories, and laughs with people from all over the world. It is like I have been given a passport to experience the entire globe without even leaving campus.

But let us be real figuring out what you want to do with your life is tough. I have changed my major more times than I can count because, honestly, it is hard to decide what you want to do for the rest of your life when you are just starting out. And guess what? That is okay. We are young, we are learning, and it is all part of the journey. Each time I tried something new, learned a little more about myself and what! am passionate about.

What makes this experience so epic is the mix of cultures you get to see up close. It is one thing to read about different countries in a textbook, but it is a whole different story when you are sitting across from someone who grew up on the other side of the world, sharing

stories, food, and traditions. I have learned so much about the world, but more importantly, I have learned a lot about myself. It is like every person I meet adds a new color to my world, making it richer and more vibrant.

So, if you are on the fence about studying abroad or trying something new, let me be the one to push you over the edge in the best way possible! Take that leap of faith. Embrace the unknown. Yes, there will be challenges, and yes, you might get a little homesick or confused about what you are doing. But trust me, the rewards are worth it. You will gain more than just an education you will gain a whole new perspective on life.

This experience has taught me that it is okay not to have everything figured out. It is okay to change your mind, to try new things, and to meet new people. The world is so much bigger and more amazing than I ever imagined, and now, I am living it. So, go out there, take the plunge, and start your own adventure. Who knows where it will

lead you? And maybe one day, you will be telling your own story, inspiring others to take that leap of faith and discover the incredible world waiting for them.
