Hi! In this short post today I would like to introduce you guys to a new guest on our website, and that is Angel Rose Ilunga from DR Congo! As someone who has graduated from high school, she has grown a lot as a person from these experiences, and she would love to share with you some of the most important insight she has gained. I hope that you can learn something from this!

“Don’t try to look extract good (I think she means flashy), just look clean. High school is SCHOOL, don’t dress like it a party or something”

“Consistency is better than trying to overwork because it’s doesn’t work. It's better to study two pages a day that to try and revise 50 pages in one week”

“Love your teacher and you will succeed the class, I don’t know why it's like that but it's just like that. The moment you hate a teacher, you lose any chance to succeed at his/her class”

“Don’t chase for friends, find your people and stick to them. And when you don’t find your people in your class check the classes below you or above you. And when you still don’t find people maybe your teachers can be friendly and if you still don’t find anyone, remember you come (to school) to study not to make friends. Study, sleep, eat, draw or do anything you like during break. Never force friendship!”

“Try to build a worldview, to understand who you (are) and what you want in life while you are in high school. Try to know what is wrong and what is right. Build values and beliefs, because when you leave that place those values will keep you. If you know God (no matter the way you call him) just learn more about him, and how to be in alignment with his words. Be firm in your faith and make sure to know the truth for yourself.”

“The first person to love you is you. If you don’t love your body, nobody will love it, if you don’t love your clothes, nobody will love it. If you love yourself other people’s opinion will matter less”

高中毕业后该做什么? - Harry Shin
